J.K. Rowling’s Calling by My Ha

This morning, a group of us went hiking on Arthur’s Seat to watch the sunrise. The view was breathtaking, and I do not regret it one bit. I might be getting sick though,

Then, the morning session consisted of talking about JK Rowling and her inspiration for Harry Potter. We went around in a circle and answered life questions about Rowling and where her inspirations for characters, names and events came from. Turns out a lot of her book resembled her own personal life.

We toured the Greyfriar’s cemetery where JK Rowling got many of her characters name from.

We also went to The Elephant House, where she published her first two Harry Potter books.

After, we visited Spoon, which is another cafe place she wrote her books.

I felt like I got a lot of unanswered questions answered today and I feel inspired to write as much as possible. JK Rowling’s story is an inspiration to all and I am glad I got to visit Edinburgh, which is where she lives in.

After the tour, I went to the Edinburgh Castle and toured it. The view from this castle is breathtaking, and it was hard to capture the beauty in a photo. I got to learn about the history of Scotland ranging from The Great War, the Revolutions, up to modern day war training. The castle has private property and shrines dedicated to fallen heros of the Scottish regime. If you want to explore castles, this is a good place to start.
