If you have never visited the Guinness Storehouse Factory, think of the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory, except with Beer instead of Chocolate and no Oomp Pa Loompa’s. When I think of Guinness from the media, I just saw another beer brand, which I never cared for anyway (I don’t drink beer so never gave Guinness much thought).
When we arrived I didn’t know what to expect. I learned a lot behind the brand. I didn’t realize how much culture, and history was associated with the brand, as well their ties with Ireland. When we went behind the advertisement for it, the company was really detailed and mindful of the messages they wanted to send it out.
IThe tour also taught me the technique and science to create quality tasting product. Even though I am still not a beer drinker, but it was quite an interesting experience. It really taught me that there is always something more, to everything you see.
