Froyo with Friends -Anastasia Niforos
Since it was our last night in London before heading to Cardiff, Wales tomorrow the squad decided to see the London Eye at night. As we were walking to there, we saw the coolest froyo joint and decided we had to get some.
The place is called Snog and boy was it colorful. The froyo is sold out of a double-decker bus with seating at the top. The whole experience was very retro and I was mesmerized by the choice of colors and font that Snog enabled. First off, I’ve never seen froyo sold out of a double-decker bus before. Secondly, I’ve never seen a froyo place with so many colors and interesting lighting. Red, blue, green, purple, yellow, orange, etc. You name it, those colors were there. I felt special as I ate my froyo at the top of the bus because the lights were so luminous. It seemed almost futuristic to me like I was in another world that was way more advanced than the current one I’m living in. Like flying cars and all that stuff.
I know, it’s a little weird that eating at a froyo joint really sprung up this whole idea of a futuristic world and stuff. But hey, that’s just the vibe I was getting. I ended up ordering the original tart froyo topped with strawberries. I am very happy with myself because I made a fantastic choice. My whole experience tonight was fun and I really bonded with my friends on this study abroad program. I think it had a lot to do with the colors and lighting of Snog because everyone was mesmerized by it just like I was.
