At the beginning of the week, I started to feel homesick and felt that I was ready to go home, but the fact that it is now our last night here in the UK, I actually realized that I’m a bit sad to be leaving. This has been one of the most amazing experiences for me! I’ve met a lot of cool and funny people here and I actually learned a lot about myself while being on this trip. Troy was not lying when he said that five weeks would fly by!
We honestly could not have ended the trip any better! We started off the day going to the Tower of London. I love being in that part of town because it’s so beautiful and relaxing. Once we left there, we headed to get some last minute souvenirs. I’m very excited to give all of my family and friends their gifts.
Next, we headed to the Giraffe restaurant for our final group dinner. I really enjoyed dinner because everyone dressed up nice and we took a lot of great photos, as well as, shared a lot of laughs and memories. After five weeks, we were finally able to get on The London Eye. That was a lot of fun. We went up and took a lot of photos. I’m glad we saved it for the last day, because it was so nostalgic. We went up, looked over the city and reminisced about all the great times we had. Definitely one of my highlights of the trip!
I originally was not supposed to come on this trip to finances, but I thank God that he made a way for me. I really needed this trip for personal growth and I wouldn’t have traded it for the world! Until next time London, cheers!
